In my layout, I want to prioritise the picture because that is what the majority of people will be looking at. The picture must be the biggest thing on the cover and nothing else should be covering the picture too much. You must be able to see it clearly. The masthead is also important as the reader must be able to see what the magazine is called. It must be clear to read and recognisable to my audience. I will coverlines and straplines to make the magazine cover more appealing to the reader by using type fonts and colours. Here are some layout designs:
